Yasir Hameed is a right handed batsmen and Pakistani cricketer. He is the batsman who scored hundred in both innings of his first test match. After that he is in and out of the team because of his inconsistent batting performances. Recently he gives statements against his team mates for match fixing and claim that the Pakistani players fixes almost every match which they played. But when his comments came in front of media or public he denied them and said the persons who talked to him secretly made video that is illegal.
On that video he faced criticism from Pakistani public as well as former Pakistani players. Later he denied his statements and gives written apology to Pakistani players and cricket board. Yasir Hameed filed complaint against New of the World newspaper after that incident and present four points in front of the court that include Harassment, breach of privacy, misrepresentation and inaccurate reporting against News of the World.
After the hearing UK Press Complaint commission partially accept the Yasir Hameed claim and order News of the World to remove story and video of Yasir Hameed from their web site and said further decision of the trial will be come after the decision of Salman, Asif and Aamir’s match fixing scandal trial.
