Yasir Hameed is a right handed batsmen and Pakistani cricketer. He is the batsman who scored hundred in both innings of his first test match. After that he is in and out of the team because of his inconsistent batting performances. Recently he gives statements against his team mates for match fixing and claim that the Pakistani players fixes almost every match which they played. But when his comments came in front of media or public he denied them and said the persons who talked to him secretly made video that is illegal.

On that video he faced criticism from Pakistani public as well as former Pakistani players. Later he denied his statements and gives written apology to Pakistani players and cricket board. Yasir Hameed filed complaint against New of the World newspaper after that incident and present four points in front of the court that include Harassment, breach of privacy, misrepresentation and inaccurate reporting against News of the World.

After the hearing UK Press Complaint commission partially accept the Yasir Hameed claim and order News of the World to remove story and video of Yasir Hameed from their web site and said further decision of the trial will be come after the decision of Salman, Asif and Aamir’s match fixing scandal trial.

Yasir Hameed is a Pakistani cricketer and right handed batsman. He comes into the news because of his controversial statements that he has given about other Pakistani players during the tour of England. His interview was not formally given his video was shot through spy cam. In that interview he said Pakistani players fix always every match and he is not included in that match fixing. He said match fixer also offer him huge amount of money for match fixing but he did not betrayed to his country and team that is way refuses the offer. Pakistan because of his performance in Sydney match are very close to winning the test match but because of poor performance in fielding Pakistan lost the match.

Yasir Hameed said that poor performance in the Sydney test match was also because of match fixing and without match fixing Pakistan did not lost the match. Yasir said he always provide his hundred percent to win the match and when other did not tries hard and only play for losing he feels angry. Although other players say there is no truth in the claims of Yasir Hameed and gives all that statements only for personnel reasons. When these statements come to the surface he apologies to all other members of Pakistani cricket team as well as Pakistan cricket board.
